About James Martin
James first came to national attention through his appearances on BBC’s Ready Steady Cook before going on to present Saturday Kitchen for ten years, regularly attracting audiences of more than 3.5 million viewers. He currently fronts the award-winning James Martin’s Saturday Morning on ITV, alongside a range of successful food and travel series including James Martin’s French Adventure, American Adventure, Great British Adventure and Islands to Highlands.
Away from television, James has enjoyed an acclaimed culinary career. At just 22 years old, he opened Hotel du Vin in Winchester as Head Chef, later going on to launch several successful restaurants and hospitality ventures.
