About Rory Bremner

Rory Bremner is one of the UK’s most recognisable entertainment figures, celebrated for his sharp political satire, intelligent humour and remarkable gift for impressions. With a repertoire of more than 100 voices, Rory has spent decades entertaining audiences through television, radio, theatre and live performance.

Rory first rose to prominence following a breakthrough television appearance on Wogan in 1985 before landing his own BBC series. He later became a household name through hit satire programmes including Rory Bremner…Who Else? and the award-winning Bremner, Bird & Fortune, widely regarded as some of Britain’s sharpest political comedy shows.

A familiar face across British television and radio, Rory has appeared on programmes including Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, QI, Question Time, The One Show and Parkinson, while also hosting documentaries, quiz shows and topical specials. In 2011, he appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, showcasing another side to his personality and quick humour.

Beyond broadcasting, Rory is a writer, opera translator and regular contributor to national publications including The Daily Telegraph, The New Statesman and Radio Times. He has also fronted documentaries exploring subjects ranging from Scottish independence to ADHD and family history.
