Ben McBean takes on the 3 Peaks Challenge
Hero Ben McBean will be tackling the 3 Peaks Challenge on behalf of the Child Bereavement Charity in September.
Former marine, double amputee and Sun hero Ben McBean will be adding the 3 Peaks Challenge to his latest list of achievements. The 25 year old who lost his right leg and his left arm to an IED while on tour in Afghanistan has already run the London Marathon twice and climbed to Everest Base Camp as part of a team of injured servicemen. The challenge which involves walking up the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales will be taking place on the 8th-9th September and Ben and the team will be raising money for the Child Bereavement Charity.
