Afghanistan veteran Ben McBean will be on Newsnight tonight discussing the relationship between the MoD and Help for Heroes.
Marine and Afghan hero Ben McBean will be on Newsnight tonight criticising the way in which Help for Heroes spend its money. As a double amputee and a patron of the charity Ben has seen how Help for Heroes has been subsidising multi-million pound building projects on behalf of the MoD rather than helping injured servicemen with the help they really need. Despite an increase in the amount of money the government is putting in and the millions of pounds in donations from military charities they are concentrating on building projects and not on proesthetic limbs.
