Congratulations to Helen Skelton on her record breaking trek to the South Pole
Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton cycles and ski's her way across the Antarctic to another world record.
Blue Peter presenter and world record holder for her journey down the length of the Amazon on a kayak, Helen Skelton has just finished her 500 mile trek to the Antarctic. Using a combination of cross country skiing, kite skiing and a specially modified bicycle Helen faced conditions of -48 degrees celsius in her latest world record attempt for Sports Relief. Her exploits can be seen as part of a nine week on Blue Peter from Tuesday 24th January onwards at 4.30pm.
