Kristian Digby
Still only in his mid-twenties, Kristian is a force to be reckoned with. A very experienced and award winning director (his short film Last Train To Demise won the Melbourne Film Festival Best Student Film in 1998 and Words of Deception won him a junior BAFTA and the accolade of youngest ever winner in 1997) Kristian turned his hand from film to television and was the director on programmes such as Home Front, Fantasy Rooms, She’s Gotta Have It, Girls on Top and the Ozone.
It was only a matter of time before Kristian’s charms were utilised in front of the camera as well as behind, and following a brief foray into presenting and directing in his earlier years on Nightlife for LWT and Sunday Night on ITV and One Night Stand for LWT, Kristian took on a more permanent on screen role on two series of That Gay Show for BBC Choice, he designed several rooms for House Call for the BBC (he had the most telephone calls ever to the series and 9 marriage proposals!) and the present day finds him co-presenting To Buy or Not to Buy for the BBC for which the viewing figures are fantastic.
Kristian comes from a family of property developers and grew up in the dust and rubble of various renovations. His experience in this field has no doubt contributed to his success on To Buy or Not to Buy and also in his directing work on programmes such as Changing Rooms and of course The Million Pound Property Experiment. Kristian is also building two houses on land adjacent to his house and continues to develop his property developing skills.
