Ellie Crisell is key presenting talent and a journalist at the BBC. Until recently she was the presenter of Newsround and Newsround Extra on BBC1. Anchoring the programme between April 2003 and March 2008 she reported on such stories as the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake disaster and the 2004 Summer Olympics.

Ellie is now the presenter of the BBC1 8pm bulletin and a regular presenter on the BBC News Channel. She has also presented for BBC London and appeared as a reporter and pundit on children's issues on Newsnight, BBC Breakfast and the One O'clock news.

She worked previously at the Mail on Sunday before moving to ITN where she got her break presenting radio and television news for North East Tonight.

Ellie is an experienced event host and facilitator.
