Russell is a qualified Technology Engineer and he can turn his hand to most things. He's an accomplished cook, mountaineer, guitarist, water skier and biker! He joined the British Makalu Expedition in Nepal to report on the efforts to climb the world's fifth highest mountain. He produced and presented - live by satellite - a series of features for Radio 1, Radio 4 and BBC1's PEOPLE TODAY. And the whole story was told in a half-hour documentary, which he co-produced and presented on BBC1.
