Rageh’s most recent documentary 7/7: A Test of Faith with Rageh Omaar is for ITV1, following the success of his Coping with the Tsunami documentary screened in July again for ITV1.

For the BBC’s Africa Series he interviewed Nelson Mandela. Other recent work includes a BBC Panorama Special, Knives – A Teenage War Zone and BBC4’s An Islamic Journey Through Europe a 90 minute authored documentary which uncovered the hidden story of Europe’s Islamic past.

Rageh hosted the EMMA Awards and was recently heard narrating A Muslim in the Family for BBC1.

He gave the Royal Television Society’s Huw Wheldon Lecture which was broadcast on BBC 2. During the Edinburgh Television Festival Rageh spoke at a seminar entitled Saddam: My Part in His Downfall.

Rageh Omaar rose to prominence as the BBC’s man in Baghdad. His reports from the beleaguered Iraq capital became a regular feature on news bulletins in the UK and around the world.

Rageh recently gave a speech at the Unilever UK Conference in Brussels.

He hosted the EMMA Awards and has given speeches with Q&A for AXA. Rageh recently hosted Alliance & Leicester’s two day Annual Conference in Manchester.

He’s spoken for EDS, The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and given a keynote speech for ABTA in Florida. Rageh has recently performed as a guest speaker on a P&O Cruise.
