Paul’s career has taken him from a successful naval career, to life as a Managing Director of a maritime leisure business, into the field of top performance development and life as an international public speaker. Most recently, Paul was appointed Client Director at Henley Management College.
Paul has lead teams in hostile environments: he has successfully skippered yachts in some of the world’s most demanding races. He was also responsible for the selection and development of all the skippers in the 2000 and 2004 Global Challenge Yacht Races.
Paul takes the lessons of sport to business as well as taking business acumen to the world of sport. Paul was part of the out-sourced Team Development Consultancy that worked with Sir Clive Woodward in the lead up to England’s successful Rugby World Cup in 2003.
Paul helped design and deliver assessment and development centres for His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s Leadership Programme. Sponsored by the ruler of Dubai, this highly successful programme aims to find and develop future leaders in the Emirates. Paul is always searching for new ways of enhancing performance and he certainly doesn’t trot out tired formulas.
