Born in February 1961 one of seven children, Marion was raised by her grandmother until 1967 when the family were flown to England to join their parents and start a new life.
She successfully completed her O'and A' levels and went on to Edge Hill College to study a BA Hons degree in religious studies and history, completing her education at Leicester University to complete a PGCE.
Marion married her husband Corville and gave birth to their first child in 1983, the same year in which they developed Overstone Park School from a Nursery Kindergarten into a Preparatory and high school. The school has won Investors of People Awards on two occasions and is a centre of excellence. The school’s league table results have been between 75 - 100% A* - C for the past five years for GCSE's.
Regarded as an highly successful entrepreneurial educator by many she was nominated as business woman of the year in 1998. Marion is currently completing a PHD in Education at Nottingham Trent University.
