Rachel cut her teeth working in local radio and quickly moved on to television where she presented at the launch of ITV2 in 1998. She became a regular face on Sky Interactive and is currently to be found hosting in studio and dashing around reporting for Thomas Cook TV
Perhaps best known as one of Five’s pivotal daytime faces, the opportunity to present their hit quiz show “Brainteaser” proved a fantastic opportunity for Rachel, moulding her natural bright and snappy demeanour with the ability to keep calm and cool under pressure!
“Memorybank” also for Five was next on Rachel’s agenda clocking up hundreds of hours of live presenting on terrestrial television. She went on to present “Living Live” for Living and contributed to “The Look”. Rachel has also presented on location for “Taste Today” for the Carlton Food Network and Taste TV; all the while juggling a hectic schedule interviewing a plethora of stars for ITV’s entertainment show “Preview”. Hosting live makeovers on location for Channel 4’s “Richard and Judy” as well as a variety of other programmes helped establish Rachel as a bright new talent.
Rachel is always in demand for work within the corporate sector, and she currently presents a monthly in house show for the Royal Bank of Scotland. She has worked for UKI Partnerships, the Prudential Group, Unilever, and many others, and she hosted and scripted a live nationwide show for Cosmo Girl.
Rachel trained as an actress at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, she performed in shows such as Heartbeat and Casualty before making her move to television presenting. Rachel is comfortable on camera, on stage, out on location and in front of live audiences.
