Janey Lee Grace is passionate about all things natural and green. She wants to help people change their lives by introducing them to the concept of easily available natural alternatives and directing them to the products that really work. Janey inspires people to live with fewer toxic chemicals in their lives and to encourage people to feel they can be part of the new 'ethical eco movement' without needing to feel any sense of guilt for the bits they aren't getting right. She sums up this struggle that we all face day to day as 'Imperfectly Natural'.
Janey says, “we're all imperfect - we've all got lives to lead, jobs to hold down, relationships and families to maintain! We all want a healthier happier and more holistic lifestyle, but still want to down that double espresso, occasionally use that very un-organic makeup (because it's the only one that actually does cover the bags under your eyes), and to swear profusely when the councils new green policy tells us we have to sort our rubbish into 4 different bin bags.”
Janey is a mother of 4 children under 9 who are home educated. She is passionate about natural pregnancy and childbirth, everything organic from food and wine to cosmetics, skincare to clothing, eco friendly alternatives to laundry detergents and cleaning products and is a big fan of holistic therapies.
She has been waxing lyrical about holistic living as a co-host on Steve Wright in the Afternoon on BBC Radio 2 for over 7 years and last year saw the release of her first book 'Imperfectly Natural Woman - getting life right the natural way' which shot to number one on Amazon’s best sellers list. Janey's second book ‘Imperfectly Natural Baby and Toddler’ - How to be a green parent in today’s busy world' was [published in 2007 with Orion books.
Janey appears regularly on the Wright stuff on Channel 5 and frequently gives 'Imperfectly Natural' talks and events.
