Pamela has recently completed the first series of B&B The Best for BBC2 Daytime, taking on the role of B’n’B inspector, looking at properties, people and etiquette. Her lively personality and style has made the show a ratings hit.
She has been in the property market for over 12 years and has covered every aspect of it, letting and selling over a million sq ft of commercial space and selling and marketing residential properties, including some of London’s most prestigious penthouses. She knows inventive marketing strategies and can make simple suggestions to design, that can add value to a property.
Through her expertise in property, she was asked to co-host House Proud with Changing Room's Graham Wynn which led to Cool Britannia for GMTV, interviewing and touring Belfast with Eamon Holmes making her GMTV’s ‘Property Guru’.
Pamela’s knowledge of astrology has been linked to her property work as she can often identify the star sign of the occupiers of a home by the colour schemes they use and the design and decor.
Pamela has a very varied knowledge of music and is sought after as a radio presenter, which she has been doing for 12 years, working for several local radio stations, presenting a music program with celebrity guests… it is her ambition to host a program on Radio 2. Pamela has also produced radio programs Walking on the Cracks for Radio 5 Live and has taken part in numerous outside broadcasts, presenting to a crowd of 1,000 or more.
She still continues with her voluntary work at The Middlesex Hospital in Central London, presenting her Weekly Request Show where she spends most of her time going around the wards, chatting to patients and visitors.....making her feel like she is giving something back to the people.
Pamela is an excellent journalist, having won a London Evening Standard writing competition, and has written articles for numerous journals and publications, on a wide range of subjects. She writes with humour, and frankness, and the wonderful late Lynda Lee-Potter once admired her style, and bluntness.
Hobbies include gardening, (Pamela’s garden won a London Prize....very Mediterranean, lots of tiles and mosaic) Theatre, Restaurants, travelling and keeping fit.
