Lee Mack is one of the UK's most recognisable and celebrated comics. His relentless determination to have fun is marvelously infectious and leaves his audience exhausted by laughter.
Lee’s energy, finely crafted one-liners, and quick ad-libs create an elusive star quality. His sold out solo tour was nominated for Best Live Stand Up Tour at the 2006 British Comedy Awards. Extra dates were added in November 2007 to coincide with the release of his first DVD - Lee Mack Live.
In addition to his incredible success as a stand-up, Lee has become a major comedy force on TV and radio. His BAFTA winning contribution to The Sketch Show (ITV1) was followed by a stint of hosting They Think Its All Over (BBC One) and two series of The Lee Mack Show on BBC Radio 2 (nominated for a Sony Award).
Autumn 2006 saw the successful launch of his own sitcom Not Going Out on BBC One with the first series winning both the Break-Through Award - Behind the Screen at the RTS Awards and the Gold Rose D'or award for Best Sitcom. The hugely popular second series aired autumn 2007 with the third broadcast on BBC One in early 2009.
Lee is a team captain on returning series Would I Lie To You (BBC One) appearing alongside David Mitchell and Rob Brydon. He has also frequently appeared on Have I Got News for You, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Live at The Apollo, QI, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and The Royal Variety Performance.
Lee is back touring the country with his twice extended tour Going Out and will soon be returning to the BBC with the fourth series of Not Going Out.
His second live DVD, Going Out will be on sale from November 22nd.
"If it's a barrel of belly-laughs and achy jaw muscles you're after, Lee Mack cuts to the funny bone like a knife"
