She was also seen as the historian on BBC1’s Bill Oddies History Hunt, as the main presenter for BBC1 Bristol’s Inside Out - and co host on Tell Me Where To Go for London TV. She has an extensive radio background and currently presents a Sunday Show on BBC London as well as reporting for Radio 5 Live.

Her other TV presenting credits include 3D Sky News, a twice-weekly news review programme;
Carlton Central Weekend Live, a weekly live TV debate series; and Carlton Late Night London, where she is a contributor on politics, sport and lifestyle topics. Tessa has a distinct, husky voice and recently narrated BBC1’s new series Destination D-Day: The Raw Recruits. She is also the voice of GMTV’s Entertainment Today and Hello Magazine.

Other radio credits include hosting her own weeknight phone-in and chat programme, Tess and the City, for BBC London; and various shows for LBC, including a weekday political and features led programme, a weekend interview based show covering relationships and emotions and a weekday entertainment, news and phone in chat show.

In her role as historian and orator Tessa has spoken widely on a number of subjects. She hosted and lectured on a Civilisation Cruise for P&O, where she wrote and delivered a series of themed Ancient European History Lectures; and in 2005 she spoke on the History of Afghanistan at the Royal Geographical Society in aid of Sandy Gall's Afghanistan Appeal.

Tessa loves political debate and never shies away from controversy. She is passionate about football, used to row for Oxford (where she gained her masters degree in modern history) and speaks fluent Romanian.
