For over seventeen years, Karen grew an HR consulting practice from scratch to 5 partners, 10 staff and 40 associates, turning over £1m. Her clients included many household names, amongst them global legal, consultancy and accounting practices.
Now the creator of Moloney Minds which concentrates on thinking, writing, speaking and works with a smaller number of select clients worldwide, which currently includes global organisations.
Karen’s recent key note speeches included addressing the European leaders of global accounting and legal practices on what to expect from the next generations of employees. For many years Karren taught a course on Interpersonal Effectiveness at a business school in Brussels and she is currently engaged in helping a global investment bank build its next cadre of leaders. She is also working with two large German manufacturers to develop the courage of their leaders to lead their companies into the future.
Karen's work over the past couple of years has included advising companies on attracting and retaining its top talent, the building of emotional capital within organisations, the development of competency frameworks as a culture change tool, and the creation of career and personal development opportunities to retain individuals.
As a business psychologist with an interest in human difference, Karen´s approach tends to be pragmatic based on sound experience of what works in the companies and what doesn´t. She takes a long hard and critical look at such issues as diversity and performance pay and smashes a few management myths along the way.
She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. A founding member of the Association of Business Psychologists Karen partners with Duke Corporate Education and Mannaz to design the best learning solutions for their clients.
